Looking for a fun, yet safe, and also convenient playground for your family on Guam?
Well, look no further, the Sinajana Playground- Imagination Park is thee best free outdoor playground, by far, on Guam.
I’ve prepared a list of PROS and CONS, available amenities, hours of operation, and just about ALL the info you need to know before heading over to the Sinajana Playground.
List of Playground Amenities

Please note, that the Sinajana Playground is one of the only playgrounds I know that has a long list of beneficial amenities.

I had to include a list of playground equipment for you because if your kids are like mine, they’ll want specific playground fun.
One day my daughter wanted to climb monkey bars and ONLY monkey bars. I was on a mission to find out which playgrounds had monkey bars before we set out driving. Sadly, that info was not available online.

The PROs on this list are vast and super helpful to parents. Many playgrounds on Guam DO NOT have any of the amenities listed above.
Most playgrounds on Guam are NOT gated, are not clean, or even SAFE!
I’ve taken my kids to some playground that had broken and rusted Jungle Gyms. When the Sinajana Playground opened I was so grateful for even just a safe and clean playground.
What makes it even better, is having the shelter to protect you from the exteme Guam weather (constant rain or HOT sun).
CONS
- Limited Hours of Operation 9AM – 6PM
- Gravel makes for dusty kids
These are the only Cons, and ones that don’t particularly matter to me
. However, if you are an early bird and want your kids to play before 9 AM, then this will affect you. You will also have to find another playground for after 6PM.
Also, the gravel can get a bit dusty. Your kids will leave the playground with white dust all over their clothes. I don’t mind this, but you might.
Playground Rules & Message
- Playground Hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Welcome to your Sinajana Playground- Imagination Park. This playground is a public space provided for your enjoyment and recreation. We want you to have a fun and safe time. Please keep the park clean. thank you!
- The Playground equipment is designed for children under twelve (12) years old
- Be careful, use of playground equipment is at own risk.
- We assume no liability for injuries or accidents that may occur.
- Because we are a caring community, young persons under the age of six (6) must be accompanied by an adult.
- Be kind and courteous. Respect one another and take turns.
- Use equipment properly. No running, no jumping off, no one-handed climbing, no bumping, or pushing.
- No Pets.
- No bicycles, roller skates, Heely’s, scooters or skateboards are allowed in park.
- No rough playing or yelling.
- No bare feet. Always wear proper footwear.
- No weapons and/or illegal drugs.
- No spitting and/or chewing (betel nut)
- The consumption of alcholhic beverages and/or tobacco products is strictly prohibited
- Think saftey, no glass or sharp objects in the play area.
- No cooking, barbecuing or open fires of any kind.
- We will not be responsble for lost, stolen or missing items.
- Serious injuries may occur if play equipment is not used properly or if children are no properly supervised.
